A rising talent in the London Deep House / Deep Tech scene, Redfreya is drawn to melodic, percussive and hypnotic tracks, weaving deep groove lines with emotive vocals, and always seeking to curate an emotional arc in her sets.
A regular on Bloop London Radio, Redfreya has already played across notable London venues including fabric, Egg LDN, The Steelyard, Colours Hoxton, Brixton Courtyard, as well as Annabel's, the Mandrake Hotel, and her Saturday night residency at MNKY HSE Lounge. She made her Manchester debut in late 2021 opening for Anjunadeep duo Tinlicker at Joshua Brooks MCR, and has played alongside the likes of Frankey & Sandrino, Jan Blomqvist, Dominik Eulberg, Rodriguez Jr, Whitesquare, Black Loops, Adryiano and more, with 2022 dates scheduled to share the decks with Mano Le Tough, Sam Goku, Jonas Rathsman in coming months, as well as Saint Vie, NTO and Teho later in the summer.
Redfreya shot rapidly from obscurity to becoming a recognisable face on the London club circuit over the last 24 months, in addition to establishing a loyal fanbase via curating many guest mixes for international podcasts and radio stations, and her monthly radio shows. 2022 is sure to see her continue to make stratospheric progress towards establishing her career in the electronic music industry.
A lifelong music lover, Redfreya began her musical career with a solid grounding in classical training as a flautist, singer and pianist, and was initially inspired by minimalist composers Philip Glass, Nils Frahm, Yann Tiersen and The Cinematic Orchestra. When she discovered electronic music, this progressed to a broadspectrum love of all melodic, deep and progressive genres of house and techno - "I don't discriminate by genre but to me, music has to be emotional, danceable and beautiful".
